Tree Protection Plan (TPP)

 

The Tree Protection Plan is scale drawing showing the finalized design proposals. It will show some or all of the following, depending on the requirements of the individual site;


a) trees selected for retention, clearly identified


b) trees to be removed, also clearly identified


c) the precise location for erection of protective barriers and any other relevant physical protection measures including ground protection, to protect the root protection areas and marked as a Construction Exclusion Zone on the plan


d) design details of the proposed physical means of protection, indicated through drawings and/or descriptive text, including any development facilitation pruning, and


e) areas of structural landscaping to be protected from construction operations to prevent the soil structure being damaged.
